An interactive multimedia story that focuses on greening neighbourhoods as part of the energy transition.

Its purpose is to inform people about this specific aspect of the energy transition, since the term "green neighbourhoods" often raises questions about what it actually means.

This project was designed to make that idea more accessible. Rather than presenting facts and information, we let residents step into a story.

01

Stepping into
the Neighbourhood

To bring the topic to life, we created The Green Scene: an interactive story following three households in the fictional neighbourhood of Weltendijk as they navigate the changes around them.

02

where researchMEETS INTERACTION

Every design decision was grounded in research. We explored the questions, expectations, and uncertainties people have about greening their streets, and translated them into an interactive experience.

03

From Concept
to Code

From the first ideas to the final prototype, we were involved throughout the entire design and development process, shaping both the story and the interaction.

"The Green Scene,
it gives us all
new energy."
